The Wash Rack Attendant is responsible for assisting the supervisor in the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and repair of the Agricultural Cleaning Site. Capable of the proper use, care and maintenance of equipment and facilities. Assists in maintaining all equipment assigned. Must possess excellent communication skills with the customer. Capable of working independent in lieu of specific instructions to accomplish mission. Safety and environmental conscious at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Using a good working knowledge of Wash Rack Operations, Quality, Environmental and Safety programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines, and an understanding of the needs of the organization serviced.
  • Works with and in conjunction with other departments to accomplish all required tasks.
  • Ensures safeguarding of all Army property and equipment.
  • Supports the organization’s mission, vision and values by exhibiting the following behaviors: honesty, integrity, and respect while delivering high quality solutions and maintaining a positive attitude and a safe work environment.
  • Washes customer vehicles upon entry into the site
  • Performs other duties and assignments as required.

Qualifications

  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years specialized experience in wash rack operations that includes reclaim water and chlorination injection systems. Must have served in position of increased responsibility encompassing program planning and supervisory experience.
  • Skills:
    • Must have working knowledge of wash rack Operations
    • Working Knowledge of Pressure washers
    • Knowledge of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and storage requirements to meet compatibility of products based on hazard class is required.
  • SUPERVISORY/BUDGET RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Responsible to manage hours of personnel including use of overtime for mission requirements and to the best interest of Client.
