Dear sir/ madam.
I am writing to you to apply for the open position of (General labor/laundry attendant/food service worker) as advertised in the internet.
I have a certificate in environmental studies from The Technical University of Kenya and still pursuing my studies, I have five years working experience with a non-profit international organization (ICRAF) WORLD AGROFORSTRY CENTER where I worked a laboratory technician /assistant and any other duties as a logician.
During my time at ICRAF I have learned basic skills on soil/plant samples preparation and research techniques where I applied this skills adhering to the S.O.PS and laboratory practices to improve on the output of analyzed samples per day from 10% to 25% thus putting the lab as one of the best in Africa and a destination for postdoctrate researchers to do their soil/plant analysis.
Having attained most of the career goals that I have previously set myself I am now keen to expand my professional ability and to seek new challenges in the field of research and logistics.
I completed my Environmental certificate and I am greatly exited by the prospect of being able to use this knowledge along with my natural passion for the environment and logistics to become a valuable member of your team.
I strongly believe that I have all the quality you require for the mentioned post, and can assure you that I posses all abilities needed for the logistics and service sector. In conclusion I want to state that I would be very great full for a chance to prove myself and look forward to meeting you to discuss possible my application further.
Yours sincerely
Lawrence
