My name is Anthony Ombuyah. Having had a prior experience in the Middle East (While at the US Embassy- Baghdad including BDSC and Basrah camps), with my hands-on experience in various capacities as a technician and coupled with technical knowledge in troubleshooting, monitoring, repairing appliances and instruments and computers and networks I believe I have all it takes to fit in position that could be available as you will refer from my resume attached here.
In my position of a BAS Technician with Pacific Architects and Engineers (PAE) Company at the US Embassy Baghdad Compound, I worked in conjunction with HVAC Technicians to monitor, report, assess and repair their heating or cooling equipment and Building Automation Systems (BAS) along with other duties such as ordering parts and maintaining records.
Apart working with PAE, I have also worked in the same location for American Embassy of Baghdad Employees Association (AEBEA) as an IT Assistant Technician. With my experience in IT systems, implementations, and troubleshooting throughout my professional background, as well as my proven talents in project management and user support, I feel confident that I would significantly benefit my future employer in this capacity. My dynamic background has prepared me to excel in this hands-on IT role. With extensive knowledge in a variety of systems, platforms, and applications, my technical and leadership abilities position me ready to thrive in this challenging and energizing role.
In addition to my technical expertise I possess excellent customer service skills especially at the Service Desk/Dispatch. Before leaving to work for AEBEA, I was a Service Order Dispatcher at the Service Desk at the Embassy in Baghdad for two years. I have been praised by customers and bosses on my quick response time and the way in which I keep the customers updated on the condition of their work tickets.
