I have been involved in electrical works for the last twelve years specializing in the following:-
– Interpretation of electrical drawings, Bills of Quantities and supporting implementation.
– Electrical works ranging from repair and maintenance to servicing new installations at various construction sites.
– Installation and servicing of single phase and three phase generators.
– Design and electrical installation of electrical wiring systems for various projects engaged as a subcontractor electrical technician.
– Design and installation of mains sockets and lighting systems including wiring direct on line and star delta starters for various machinery in factories.
During the period, I have worked for the following organizations:- April 2016 to November, 2016 – INTERNATIONAL COMMITTEE OF THE RED CROSS (ICRC) Involved in a project for electrical installation at Kismayo General Hospital working under Nderi Engineering. December, 2016 – Feb, 2017 – Worked for ICRC Kismayo new offices and Beltywene offices as an electrical consulting technician. November 2007 to April 2016 – Working as an independent / freelance engineering technician contracted by several companies / individuals servicing new and existing domestic and industrial electrical installations. January to March, 2005 – Attached to Kengen Company Limited (Wanjii Power Station (Murang’a) as a trainee technician. May 2005 to October, 2005 – Newspan Electrical Engineering Limited – Electrical technician. August 2005 – Engineering Manfacturers Limited – Electrical Technician.
