I served with the Kenyan Defence forces for a period of 10 years. Units i served after training college are 20th Parachute Battalion as a paratrooper and volunteered in forming of the 40 Ranger Strike Force and Special forces units in Kenya. I received training from both the US and British special forces during this time.
Countries i have operated include Siera-Leone and Somalia. Conducted training in the UK, US and Belize – Central America i.e International jungle patrol course (IJPC) covering Intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition and reconnaissance. I am also a trained sniper (first in my Class) by the British Royal Marine 40 Commando Alpha Saints.
After leaving the army i became a maritime security team leader with a company called Kenya Risk Consultants ltd and provided armed security escorts for merchant vessels operating along the Somali coast line and gulf of Aden during the high Somali Piracy period. With the same company i have also done VIP close protection duties.
In 2013 end i joined Saab a Swedish Defence and security company running its operations in Kenya and Somalia as the Country Security Manager. My duties are detailed in my resume.
Currently am back to maritime security as a consultant operating along the Somali coastline namely Mogadishu, Kismayu, Barawe and Marca. As a team leader we protect supplies to Amisom on the supply vessel.
I look forward to working as a security armed contractor.
