Am a Graduate from Jomo Kenyatta University Kenya ,an experienced hand having being employed by SITA AERO (Servicing travel agencies and locally based airlines) as a Field Technician , SGS Kenya as a System Administrator and lastly seconded to Octopian Technologies by BCX as their Local IT Specialist .
Am very good in networking and user support,have dealt with networking issues,internet and networking as tools of work for the users, Microsoft windows and office software, PC and Servers (Ms Windows environment) (HP,Dell and IBM) repairs and maintenance, LAN/WAN(TCP/IP,VOIP,Internet routing and security) ,Cisco Routers/Switch configuration CCTV Cameras,WIFI and Audio Visual Equipment's,VSAT installation and maintenance,Wireless and Microwave technologies,printers and other computer accessories installation and configuration,i have installed ,Maintained and Repaired Visa and Mastercard servers in different Banks in Kenya.
Am a very disciplined professional, self motivated team player , a person who applies working knowledge and techniques of day to day Information Technology in an operating environment utilizing available tools and applications,this has given me enough experience to handle different projects,manage them and finish them professionally and in time thus meeting the clients SLA.
By the nature of training i learnt to be an open minded dynamic thinker,this has helped me install , programmes and customize software's i did not have prior training or knowledge like the Sun Solaris ,am also pro active of the problems i may encounter on the course of duty, i believe my experience and professionalism gained while working with SITA AERO,SGS and Octopian where I was their Customer Support Engineer, Accounting Officer and in charge of their two warehouse indicates a person of good character ,disciplined ,organised,handles projects professionally and on time and who needs little or no supervision and a person who can manage Professionally.
