I am a highly organized and motivated professional with extensive experience in end-to-end accounting processes previously employed by Flexoworld Limited, Tononoka Steels Ltd manufacturers of steel products in Kenya and Paradigm Kenya L3C a social enterprise trading in carbon reduction projects to the low income earners. In my roles for both Companies, I was in charge of ensuring all financial transactions are accurately captured, all end of period adjustments are passed and financial statements produced by every 5th of the following month. I was also in charge of receivables and payables reconciliations, GL reconciliations and ensuring that proper cost allocations are done for separate projects and cost centres in the period, Develop, maintain and analyse budgets, preparing variance analysis periodic reports, end to end payroll management and other duties related to accounting matters.

Being an energetic person and a quick learner, I thrive in busy and challenging environments. I work to tight deadlines and am renowned in my previous places of work for my excellent numerical and data entry skills and ability to resolve reconciliation discrepancies. I made a number of recommendations to improve the existing system that helped to make our processes smoother and more efficient.

I have a Diploma in Accounting and currently pursuing ACCA certification. I am proficient in various accounting packages namely SAP Business One, Netsuite, Xero, Sage Pastel, Quickbooks, Tally and Systematics;Payroll accounting softwares (Paymaster and Aren ) as well as Microsoft applications. I also stay up-to-date with relevant finance legislation as this knowledge is integral to my job.

I am very much a team player and have previously supervised a team of three accounts assistants with whom we successfully implemented Sap Business one ERP for Tononoka Group of Companies and also Netsuite for Paradigm Kenya L3C. I work well with others while also enjoying independent work and responsibility.
